THERE'S a Southern uprising, as heavy Dunedin trio MIRIKACHINIST prepare to take on New Zealand after their debut EP 'Force Forged' release.
MIRIKACHINIST began honing their sound in winter 2009, when guitarist/vocalist John Sears, drummer Jeremy Mackay, and bassist Slade MacDonald got together.
Since then they've developed their own brand of liquid metal, practicing like madmen in various places, including an abandoned abattoir.
MIRIKACHINIST's chunky though melodic style is pure, no bullshit metal, focused on powerful hard driven grooves and brutal rock solid rhythms.
After a period away, MacDonald is back in the fold reuniting the original crew...
