This is a beautiful rendition of that original iconic NZ song. Shelley has totally done justice to the spirit of the music with a moving, modern interpretation of the Pixie Williams classic.
This song deserves hit status - if only so that many people are touched by it. The soulful words are as relevant today as they were 70 years ago and the Hirini treatment is funky but very moving.
