Mahoney Harris

Mahoney (pronounced Marnie) bought her first guitar from a New York City pawn shop in the summer of 1996. After several lessons she started writing songs and performing at open mic nights around the city.
In 1999 Mahoney recorded her first EP, Nowhere To Roam, in a basement in Tamarama, Sydney with friend Dean Manning (Leonardo's Bride, Holidays On Ice).
Tiring of the urban grind of NY, Mahoney relocated to Sydney in 2000 and toured the East Coast as support for Leonardo's Bride. She continued to gig and recorded the album, Here For Now...
