Cairo Knife Fight began as a solo recording project, developed during the down time from Nick Gaffaney's day job
as drummer for some of New Zealand's most successful artists.
Some two years on from the first sessions, Cairo Knife Fight is one of the country's most unique live acts.
Aside from Nick Gaffaney on drums and lead vocal duties, the band features an array of talented musicians.
Between them they've performed in; Fat Freddy's Drop, Anika Moa, Goldenhorse, Weta, Dimmer, Dave Dobbyn and Hollie Smith.
