Dick Dynamite and the Doppelgangers
Dick Dynamite and the Doppelgangers are a psychobilly band from the far side of the sun. Comprised of Dick Dynamite who sings and plays the upright bass, Sammy Featherbelly on guitars, and Chubby Chip on drums; they play a combination of 50s rockabilly music and punk rock with hints of jazz and country.
Based in Hamilton the Doppelgangers have been together since early 2006 and have played with notable acts such as Stray Cats drummer Slim Jim Phantom, and US Queer-core champions Limp Wrist.

I saw them perform at San Fran in support of Gin Wigmore - Osum sounds and energy! Def be watching out for them again!
Posted by Noa 9.25AM, 17 Nov 2011These guys have an awesome live show. The leap and cavort across the stage with Dick Dynamite handling his double bass like it's a guitar - playing behind his back and even downside up over his head.
Individually incredibly talented musicians. Collectively a non-stop frenetic riot of great songs and fun show. See them if you can!
