Gin Wigmore is a New Zealande singer and songwriter who is the first artist signed to Island Records Australia. Gin has taken her life's ups and downs, held them up to the light, and crafted songs which speak to an almost universal experience of fear, hope, love and joy.
Virginia (Gin) Wigmore beat 11,000 entries from 77 countries to win the Grand Prize at the International Song Competition 2004. Gin's winning song, Hallelujah was written about her father who passed away in 2002 due to cancer. It is included on her debut Extended Play...
