Bio

Malcontent aka Mallory Gawn was hatched in Wellington some lifetimes ago and was a Titahi Bay kid 'til an early OE to Canada that lasted 30 years and left him an accent and an enduring love for acoustic folk and country music.

Real music with real wooden instruments and human voices singing real songs, as in one of his Toronto bands The Foggy Mountain Dead Boys, regulars in Kensington Market pubs for awhile.

His new CD was recorded over recent years in Auckland, mostly on a simple cassette recorder, with technical and instrumental assistance Andrew Maitai and Wazman Ferrari.
