Buckle
After winning the Best Jazz Album at the 1998 RIANZ Awards Godfrey de Grut of The New Loungehead and fellow sax man Chris White (Rodger Fox Big Band), recorded a selection of five tracks in a jazzy, trip-hop vein under the alias of Buckle. The Buckle project also called on the formidable skills of Loungehead bass player "Chip" Mathews and Slumber beat technician Graham Cope, as well as a range of stellar musicians from the Auckland club circuit.
