Vector Wellington Orchestra
The Vector Wellington Orchestra plays an extensive role in the cultural life of Wellington City and the wider region, performing up to 100,000 people each year.
Fostering young people's enjoyment of music is one of the orchestra's important contributions to the region through entertaining concerts to pre-school and primary school children and families.
The Orchestra supports arts organisations in the Wellington region including the Royal Zealand Ballet and the NBR National Opera.
In 2010, the Vector Wellington Orchestra, celebrated its 60th anniversary since its legal entity, Wellington Regional Orhcestra Foundation Inc, was established.
The Orchestra's Music Director is Marc Taddei.
