Bulletbelt

Bulletbelt, striking fear into NZ audiences since 2009, vomit forth their debut album of New Zealand Black Metal - Down In The Cold Of The Grave.

7 tracks over 28 minutes of aural punishment – the album was recorded at STL Audio on their vintage SSL 4000G mixing console (previously owned by Pater Gabriel and his Real World Studios) and featuring the artwork of acclaimed NZ artist Nick Keller.
After eviscerating audiences in 2012 with a nationwide tour, and support slots with international acts The Black Dahlia Murder (USA), Impiety (SGP), Goatwhore (USA), Bolzer (SWI), Paul Dianno (GBR) and Blaze Bayley (GBR) – a 2013 NZ tour and support shows with Tragedy (USA), Rotten Sound (FIN) and Midnight (USA) have already been confirmed.

Down In The Cold Of The Grave is out now on CD and cassette tape through Headless Horseman and immediate download from bulletbeltnz.bandcamp.com.

"With breakneck bitter tunes, Down in the Cold [of the] Grave is 29 minutes of in-your-face, rollicking metal —think Norway's Craft and Aura Noir at the tail-end of an evening's drinking and knife fighting."
Craig Hayes

"…this is more along the lines of early black metal before it got all tangled up in sub-genres. Any which way, this is cool in so many ways that you really need to look this one up ..."

Now, as I am spluttering and howling for death, they bring the blackened hammer down
Down in the cold of the grave I lie, with naught but a knife in my gut
Emaciated by time and rot, my corpse a relic to the folly of man
But my brittle body shall never be returned from the bog.
