Strike is a high energy drumming group made up of New Zealand's most outstanding percussionists, specialing in movement-based, choreographed percussion.
Pacific, classical and contemporary musical influences, combined with a movement and theatre-based presentation, make Strike unique in the world of percussion music.
Founded in 1993, Strike has worked with leading New Zealand composers, composed its own pieces and collaborated with other musicians and groups from dancers to symphony orchestras.
