I just saw Miho Wada and her band at SXSW here in Austin tonight. Outstanding! As your typical Austinite who loves music I have to say she and the band did not disappoint. Rock solid, full sound for a four player group with a great power trio backbone, fronted by awesome live flute and up front vocals. Started out as a fast jazz jam and morphed into a great independent rock sound that needs to be heard! Check it out!
Thats my two cents. You rock Miho (and band)!
Posted by ChannelYourEnergy 7.02PM, 17 Mar 2010Seen Miho Wada & band live in Wellington one of these days. Very refreshing, funny, witty, talented (that's true for both the band and her).
Yes she plays the flute and the sax and, hey, it's great.
