Formed by Elan Mills - formerly of Wellington's Paselode - The Volunteers are a motley crew: A 17 year old bass player with a serious dependency on funk and a deep love of animals, a soprano, a soul singer, an extravert with a background in dance and a recent arrival from Scotland who was found(as they often are), at a bar.
The Volunteers are ready to take their sound of funk, soul and rock n roll to the people and execute their cunning plan to make the world a better place.
