Neil's seventeen year love affair with creating music and playing guitar began after attending Eric Clapton's 1990 performance at the Mt Smart Supertop. At the impressionable age of twelve his young mind was transfixed that evening and soon after his father conceded to buying him his first electric guitar. Since turning professional nine years ago Neil has had a ton of experience as a side man and solo artist and in recent years has worked with: Anika Moa, Michael Brecker, Randy Crawford, Tim Finn, Rick Bryant and the Finn Brothers...
