Foghorn
Auckland-based trio Foghorn features bass playing from Nick Eagles (formerly with dub band Repeater), saxophone from Nick Atkinson (formerly with multi-platinum selling Supergroove), and drumming from Tom Atkinson (formerly of progressive funk band Jungle Fungus). They play at jazz bars including Cause Celebre, Rakinos Cafe, Manifesto, and Leigh Sawmill Cafe.
The music could be described as Afro-Cuban Jazz-Funk with generous hunks of Dub for good measure. Check out the site for further details.
