Audiac were formed in Dunedin, New Zealand.
Started by brothers Andrew and Michael Schraa on guitars, along with school friend Shaun Oughton on drums and later Nigel Chang on bass, Audiac played extensively in NZ and released a limited edition single and vinyl only album.
