Simple Day is a high energy four piece pop-rock band from Auckland, New Zealand. The band was created in mid 2005 when members Mike and Koash decided New Zealand needed a band to take the piss out of the many un-original copycat 'pop punk' bands that had recently emerged throughout the world. "Lets try and write the most blatantly un-original, cliche pop/punk song possible" they said...
And they did, but surprised themselves when they actually really liked what they came up with.....
