Kiri

New Zealand born musician Kiri Eriwata has released a number of contemporary radio singles merging her soulful emotive vocals with the edgy rock and roll swagger of Derek Solomon and Lee Catlin (These Automatic Changers). With a raft of guest musicians including Jol Mullholland (The Mots, Liam Finn), Nick Gaffaney (Cairo Knife Fight), Brett Adam's (The Bads) and Andy Lynch (The Feelers, Zed), Kiri's songs have been crafted at Roundhead Studio's by engineer Neil Baldock to create a fusion that sits somewhere between pop, soul, folk, rock and dance.

The video to her first single 'Get Back Home' graced the skies on Air NZ domestic flights while Juice TV and C4 gave the single significant exposure. The track was also scooped up by Amplifier where it stayed at number one for 7 weeks. Kiri's pop rock singles 'Why Won't You', 'Baby Come Round' and 'Hotel or Car', are regular features on many local radio stations.

While producing original compositions, Kiri regularly collaborates with other artists for festivals and corporate events. She has recorded and performed live with NZ and international artists including Bobby McFerrin (US), Leo Sayer (UK), Bonnie Tyler (UK), Hollie Smith (NZ), Che Fu (NZ), Jamie Cullum (UK) and Sarah Blasko (Aus).
