Roger Manins
One of the most exciting and explosive saxophonists in Australasia, New Zealand's Roger Manins has spent much of his career based in Sydney.
He originally studied at Sydney's Conservatorium of Music, building a solid reputation before leaving for New York, where he based himself from 1996-99, studying privately and gigging.
Returning to Sydney, he was a ubiquitous sideman, recording albums with respected artists such as Mike Nock and James Muller.
