This Theory of Static

This Theory of Static was formed in 1998 as "breathingunderwater" in Auckland New Zealand by guitarist/singer Dean Young.
The "Aquatic Ceremony" EP was released on MP3.com the following year.
Along with developing breathingunderwater, Dean joined seminal Goth Rock band 'The Altar' as a guitarist, remaining in the band until it's break-up in 2001.
In 2000, Horizonchrist, breathingunderwater's critically acclaimed debut album was released on MP3.com and further blurred the lines between electronia and rock. The album showcased some of the band's most expansive and intricate songwriting to date, coupled with a more dense, layered production...
