The Puddle
Seminal Dunedin band The Puddle was formed in 1983 by leader-singer-writer-guitarist George D Henderson and bassist Ross Jackson and was soon joined by Lesley Paris & Norma O'Malley (Look Blue Go Purple) and Peter Gutteridge (The Great Unwashed, Snapper). The Puddle's 1986 – 93 Flying Nun Records catalogue of an 12" EP, two albums and a single are long out of print, but a Lazarus-like comeback over the past 5 years has seen the release of 4 new albums to international acclaim...

Well done Amplifier for picking Naked as video of the week! I am now fascinated in The Puddle. As mentioned by APB, the line "I'm flowing through the gutter of time" blew me away, worthy of Bob Dylan!

The only bad thing about No Love - No Hate is the absence of "Naked". What I would love is for The Puddle to put together a classic singles disc of a kind and call it "Gutter Of Time". The Puddle covers me in delightful downer sludge, and I roll in it like a pig! Quint Baker
