The Taliband
'The Taliband' has been rocking out its unique fusion of Ska/Rock/Funk/Punk & Reggae for over a year now, after forming in April of 04.
Since then we have played gigs of all shapes and sizes, ranging from intimate house parties to major orientation events.
The story of the band really comes down to 5 people, all with their own spin on life and music and all things relevant, sitting down and making music together. That's exactly how it happened, and that's how The Taliband continue to do it.
The Taliband sound has been described as a "ska - funk - rock - reggae - punk masterpiece of unending glory and eternal happiness. The Taliband hold the key to salvation". There is a good chance that this quote may have come directly from Jesus himself during a cough-syrup induced hallucination, but that just adds to the credibility.
