Pop Mechanix

Pop Mechanix were one of New Zealand's great pop hopefuls of the eighties. They were one of the hardest working bands in the land, made it to Australia, fought a legal battle for their name, broke up, reformed, gigged their asses off, and finally went supernova.

POP MECHANIX was one of the best live bands!!!! We lived in Napier and saw them whenever they came to The Cabana and The Onekawa Hotels. Was such a great night at The Onekawa one night way back then I proposed to my girlfriend...and we are still together. If you reform and come back to The Cabana we'll def get the ol crowd back together (punks, new wavers, skins, boots.) Andrew Snoid brought back a few Pop Mx songs to the Cabana a couple a years ago and that was fun. Come on Pop Mx bring it on!!!
