Soane
Soane was born in the village of Vava'u, located in the northern islands of Tonga, in the South Pacific. Music was a big part of his growing up and in order to further this Soane moved to Auckland, New Zealand.
Soane's DJing career began in 1989 when he assumed the unconventional position of doorman/DJ at club Roma and the Box nightclub in Auckland - cutting up hip hop and R&B under the somewhat appropriate moniker of DJ Big Daddy...
