Nigel Gavin
New Yorker Nigel Gavin has called New Zealand home for over a decade. After founding the now legendary Gitbox Rebellion in the late 80's, Nigel collaborated with Robert Fripp for several years as a member of The League of Crafty Guitarists.
In NZ, Nigel was a founding member of well-known local bands The Nairobi Trio, The Jews Brothers Band and Snorkel. He has most recently played with The Blue Bottom Stompers, Below the Bassline, Caitlin Smith, Jonathan Besser and many others. He has also featured with Australian bands Gumbo Fever, Beacastuff, and Monsieur Camembert.
