Auckland 's most innovative and fresh hip-hop outfit, The Downlow made up of MC's Loki & Slopemist, vocalist Maia and producer Zone1. With lyrics that reflect their Central Auckland surroundings, the Downlow offer a sound that is both radio-friendly and yet uncompromisingly tough.
Slopemist has been in the rap game since 1993, having performed on stage with Public Enemy and Ice-T. His father was a member of pioneering NZ hip-hop outfit, Upper Hutt Posse. After putting down the mic to concentrate on his careers in skateboarding and graffiti art, he has recently returned to his Hip Hop roots...
