ALPINE FAULT
ALPINE FAULT is a melodic/progressive metal band from Auckland, New Zealand. Early influences include some of the giants of thrash and metal: Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Iron Maiden and Sepultura. Later, however, the attention of the band's songwriters, Ant Royle and Derek Wu was turned to Europe by such groups as Opeth, In Flames, Dark Tranquility and Children of Bodom. Combine all of this with a background in classical training and ALPINE FAULT's sound could almost be predictable…
