I'd buy that

16.06.10
Hopefully when I finish this and check the news I'll find the All Whites have done us all proud to set me up for a great day... so in return I've some positive items to kickstart your day too.
In the "band from the bottom of the world makes waves up there" stakes is the announcement that Goin' Home, the debut music video from Wellington's The Thomas Oliver Band is making waves in the London after being named alongside Gorillaz, The Fray and Franz Ferdinand in the leading international 2010 Rushes Soho Shorts film festival.
The Black Seeds have announced a special Free Download Offer in support of their recently announced North American/European summer festival tour, fans can now get a 5-track sampler from their website for a limited time.

Release Of The Day:
Crowded House - Intriguer
Crowded House have completed Intriguer. The album finds original Crowded House bassist Nick Seymour and keyboardist/guitarist Mark Hart, who first played with the band in 1989, joining Finn for 10 brand new tracks.
The 10-song album was produced by Jim Scott and Neil Finn, and recorded in Roundhead studios in Auckland, New Zealand.
Charting the mainstream:
I'm not so interested in album sales this week as the top of the chart is filled with them - you know those not from here... so let's take a peek at the Singles Chart first, for a change.
Well blow me down if Naked & Famous haven't secured the top spot this week with their single Young Blood confirming the almost fact that having your music used as the C4 promo sure does pay off in chartsville - congratulations to them!
The rest of the singles chart reads much as it has for ages now, Dane Rumble, J Williams, Patea Maori Club, Nesian Mystik, Stan Walker, Kids Of 88 and Dukes all continue to chart.
Over in albumland its not a very exciting week, especially after the nice surprise in singlesland. Gin's mortgage on the top 10 hasn't expired and she's sitting pretty at number 9 with Holy Smoke.
The Phoenix Foundation's Buffalo is still top twenty and is 16 this week. The rest of the album chart like the singles is showing a distinct lack of much movement so I'm skipping the details and heading straight to the deepest darkest corners of the cahrt to find Bulletproof's Soundtrack To Forever has bounced in at number 39 - a real good first week result I reckon!
