Midweek mayhem, mayhem, mayhem

02.06.10
That's right folks today is midweek mayhem which means no dollars off and young Jim here is going to hand polish all MP3's sold on the site for the duration of the day, nice one Jimmy.
So come on in and take a look around, for those with a funny bone might we suggest the latest offering from the Laughing Samoans;
Release Of The Day:
The Laughing Samoans - Prettyfull Woman
NZ's most successful and funniest comedy duo The Laughing Samoans are back with the DVD of their hit show Prettyfull Woman.
All of the Laughing Samoans characters, such as Sam and Tony, Paul and Victor and Jonathan and Bryan, are back. Including the flamboyant and outspoken Aunty Tala who, in this show, enters a beauty contest!
Hilarious 'clean' comedy for all nationalities and ages to enjoy.
Charting the mainstream:
Eight local acts grace the official album chart this week. Taking top slot and therefore top honours this week is Gin whose top ten reign seems destined to never end - is she the magic lady?
Are You Old Enough to remember rockers Dragon? Well they have nearly cracked ten weeks in the chart with their best of which is at 11 this week, just behind them are the spirtly young Pheonix Foundaton with their cracking new album Buffalo and not far behind at 14 is Dane Rumble.
You'd think that J Williams with 22 weeks in the chart would have had enough, but this young loer just keeps on and on and on, he's at 18 this week.
Young Sid's new one What Doesn't Kill Me is at 23. Anika Moa is at 33 and Hollie Smith at 36.
I was about to write not much ahs changed in singles land other than botox being quite popular amongst certain sets... then I noticed that Dane Rumble's gone and dropped a new single Takes Me Higher from his album that's shot into the chart to number 2 - that gives him 3 singles in the top 40 - Dane ya glutton, move over and share the space would ya - or nice one, that's quite an achievement.
Vince Harder pops into the chart this week with his new one Say This With Me and rather than list all whose charting... I'll finish with a hearty whoopee for Patea Maori Club who've made it to number 3.
