Welcome cultural cringers

Welcome cultural cringers

04.05.10

It's hard to think back ten years to the first NZ Music month, way back then locally produced music wasn't held in quite the same regard it is today.

In ten short years we've all but gone from a nation of cultural cringers to one of proud music supporters. Music from here now seamlessly crosses oceans, continents and mountains to all corners of the globe.

NZ Music is all growned up. So where to from here?

Well let us start with today's featured releases...  and some gigs shall we?

Two For Tuesday:

Cornerstone Roots - New Generation

Cornerstone Roots the four piece original reggae roots based group from Whaingaroa return with the new single, New Generation, from their forthcoming album.

The Feelers - Right Here Right Now

Convert your backyard into Party Central whilst awaiting next year's Rugby World Cup with this the ticketing song of the 2011 RWC as performed by The Feelers.

You've got to be there!
