Something in the water

13.04.10
Digital Music sales fell for the first time ever in the US for the first quarter of the year which has lead to many experts/commentators suggesting that perhaps digital sales have peaked and sales will now level out... and possibly it is all just another sign of the end of the world. I'm sure the Mayan's if they'd known music could be stored on a physical object would have predicted this.
Something no one could have predicited was the wealth of talent we have in this little land of ours, I sometimes think that every NZ'er will one day turn up on Amplifier with a song to sell...
One group that turned up not so long ago are featured today with their new EP, some of you may remember they gave away their first EP with us and two of the tracks from that EP are still available to you for no dollars down.
Release Of The Day
Knights Of The Dub Table - Tronic EP
Knights Of The Dub Table hit full stride with their first CD release, Tronic EP - a showcase of musical styles blended together to bring you an emotive and unique sound.
Tronic has captured the ultimate vision and essence of the band. The sounds are full and rich and delve deeper into the musical creativity which will forever keep the Knights sounding fresh and ahead of the times.
On top of the 4 phenomenal original tunes, the Knights provide us with five bonus remixes by some of New Zealand's top-notch producers. Music legend Tiki Taane, dubstep maestro Optimus Gryme, Undertow, AUM and the Knights very own Mr Samy'samson offer another layer to the EP.
Concord Dawn's Evan Short adds the cherry on top with his mastering magic, making everything crisp, phat and blissful to your ears.
