Howling at the...

10.03.10
Remember Julia Deans from her days with Fur Patrol? Well she's is set to hit the road in early April, armed only with acoustic guitar and her vocal chords as she performs new songs from her anticipated debut solo album, due for release in June this year. Also playing some shows soon are the ever popular Cornerstone Roots, the popular roots collective are playing Hamilton, Christchurch and Dunedin over the next couple of weeks. WOMAD is in New Plymouth this weekend, one of the last outdoor festivals of the Summer season.
Righto enough lamenting the end of summer time to get up and moving, I've a photo gallery for Splore to add to the site today alongside my usual starring into space, dealing with your enquiries and those of various artists on the site as well as the daily chore of polishing MP3s... a busy day ahead it seems.
Today's featured release
Aotea Sound Lab - House Of The Moon
Aotea Sound Lab is Denton Perry creating and recording musical compositions in a digital format.
Over a period of 20 years Denton played and performed using a variety of instruments. These included trumpet, flute, tenor sax, keyboards and percussion played with a succession of bands spanning contemporary jazz, dance and cabaret, pub-rock, classical and new wave.
House of the Moon captures memories and aural impressions from Venice and Andalucia.
