Now, December for the calendar challenged kicks in today, this means it's officially summer and time for a shave. Chaps Movember is over.
Yesterday Laneways NZ promoter announced the final acts for the inaugral Auckland show and like all good festivals there are plenty of local acts to compliment the internationals.
The Phoenix Foundation, Surf City, The Naked And Famous and Street Chant join the 3Ds, Cut Off Your Hands, Dear Time's Waste and Family Cactus for the February Festival.
Two for Tuesday
The Feelers - Blue Skies
It is more than ten years since the Christchurch lads emerged on New Zealand's music scene, and with their Best Of taking out the Highest Selling NZ Album of 2008 at the NZ Music Awards, they simply proved they are as loved as they ever were.
Now, just in time for summer the feelers return with their new single, Blue Skies.
Shotgun Alley - Look At Me Now
Shotgun Alley, formally known as Suicide Boulevard formed in late Janurary 2009 by Dave Wong and Scotty Rocker (the band's lead guitarist and drummer respectively). Summed up by Rocker "The name just reminded me of cowboy boots, girls, jack & rock n roll."
1st single Look At Me Now is getting airplay on The Rock and is available to you here.
Have a rockin' Tuesday.
