Bressa Creeting Cake another act from days gone by are back together for a tour kicking off on the 20th of November in Christchurch. Which is good enough an excuse for us to roll out the Palm Singing video for a look, yep we're excited about the tour!

Song For The Day
P-Money - Love Alone feat. Vince Harder

Love Alone caught the ear of the BBC's most influential DJ Zane Lowe who quickly nabbed the world exclusive and announced the track as his 'Hottest Record In The World' earlier this month.

Love Alone is currently in high rotation in the UK as MistaJam's 'Jam Hot' Record of the Week on the BBC's number one digital urban station 1Xtra.

Solid club beat, check, catchy-as-all-hell vocals, check, but it's the strong undercurrent of hip-hop production ethics that sets P-Money apart from your typical dance producer. Love Alone is a heavy slice of pop, dance and soul with a distinctly cool edge.

Chart Attack

The King Of pop shunts our Gin from top spot in this weeks album chart, Holy Smoke with two weeks in it has now gone Platinum. Ladyhawke stays in the top ten, she's at seven this week - all those column inches in the media translating to sales perhaps, whatever, it looks to be a Gin Wigmore & Ladyhawke summer.

Flight Of The Conchords stay Freaky at 14 and Carl Doy enters the charts with his Very Best collection at number 16.

Fat Freddy's Drop are at 21 and Howard Morrison finds himself at 23 with This Is My Life. Midnight Youth are at number 30.

Diesel Phoenix should be happy with the debut at number 32 of their album Here's Something We Prepared Earlier and rounding out the local albums is Smashproof.

Seven locals feature in the singles chart with Shapeshifter being the only new entrant with their single Dutchies. It will be very interesting to see how their album goes - expect big things!

I think the The Great NZ Songbook has taken up residence in the compilation charts and is at number one this week.

Have a cracking day.
