This weeks free download comes from Hangman, Just Be, taken from their latest EP, Black Rock White Funk which is released Monday July 13th.
Black Rock White Funk! is the third EP from Auckland band HANGMAN, following up on 2007's Raw Materials and 2008's Trade Goods.
Recorded and mixed by the band, this EP takes a basic live feel and sound approach akin to the bands live shows - minimal production values are used to showcase the 5 tracks in their rawest form.
From the funk of Dirty and Agree To Disagree, to the aggressive rock of From A To B to the atmospheric Just Be (look out for the accompanying video by Mikey Rockwell), here is the latest batch of hard edged deep groove tunes from this Auckland 4 piece.

From childhood everyone has wishes of doing something big with their life - something successful. Few of us know what we need to do to achieve this success. So we go to universities, take classes, get loans' all in the hope of finding our calling.
Big Time details David's own experience of gaining a tertiary qualification while longing to pursue his dreams elsewhere.
Following on from his Top 40 hit Indulge Me it would seem David Dallas is taking the nice and steady road to success with this aspirational track pushing him one step closer to the Big Time.
David's album Something Awesome will be released on August 31st.
